**Description:** We moved last year into our home. It was an ideal

chance to produce a new style for the family room.

Coming form Germany and moving towards the United kingdom, I needed to possess a Combination of

British and German elements.

I elected for red-colored wall fresh paint,red-colored velvet curtains, red-colored footstools.....you receive the

picture.

In the end the decorating, my old floor-light during my reading through-corner didn't fit

in almost any more.

As being a stingy German, I didn't desired to toss the light away and purchase a brand new

one.

And So I made the decision to really make it fit:

I purchased a red-colored light shade, a 200ml can of black spray fresh paint and 4 metres of

4mm thick golden Rayon Crepe Cord.

First I removed the Aluminium Shade.

I Quickly bent the flexible area of the light in to the preferred form and glued it

with a few yarn.

I masked from the thread and also the cord and dispersed the entire base black.

The moment the fresh paint completely dried, I removed the hiding tape.

I Quickly covered the yarn using the golden Rayon Crepe Cord. I left the finishes of

the cord ...
